After our Anzac ceremony, Room 10 were very lucky to have parents give their time to make Anzac biscuits for us.
We would to thank Tahlia's mum and Mathias's mum for coming to our class after the ceremony and making the delicious Anzac biscuits. We really thank you very much,,,they were delicious.

On April 24, Wattle Grove Primary commemorated ANZAC Day. We held an Anzac service at 9am on the Friday before Anzac Day.
Many parents attended our service and we also had special guests attend.
All the classes were represented by their Student Councillors carrying a wreathe for the fallen soldiers.
Logan and Tahlia carried the wreathe for Room 10 and Mrs Lavery and Mr Sherlock carried the Wattle Grove Primary School wreathe.

Room 10, along with the whole school, celebrated Harmony Day by dressing in our national costume for the day. We had a terrific parade in our undercover area. It was a beautiful and colourful parade with all the students and some teachers dressing in national costume. We had a terrific time in class, discussing all the different parts of the world that students in Room 10 came from.
We come from 14 different parts of the world....WOW!!!!
We also celebrated our certificate winners.
Congratulations to Mathias, Zara and Yusuf
We had a lot of fun creating our Easter hats for the Easter Hat Parade before the end of Term 1.
We designed our hats and wrote a list of materials we would require to make our hats. it took us a couple of weeks to get organised before we were able to start creating our designs. Once we had drawn our design, we had to check our list of materials to ensure we had everything we needed. as we were making our hats, of course, our designed changed and we had to reinvent ways to change our designs on paper. eventually, we all finished our hats and we were very pleased with the finished results. We had a great time, walking around and displaying our hat designs to the whole school during our Easter Hat Parade.
